Steve King brings a strong background in business and technology. He is a successful businessman and angel investor specializing in high technology, including networking, telecommunications, software, Internet business solutions and computer components.

Steve was founder and Chairman of Datrontech Group Plc, a leading European computer component and solutions distributor. The company specialized in memory upgrades, digital storage systems, networking and communication solutions, mobile IT, PC assembly, IT training and technology re-cycling. Steve took the company public in 1995. When he left for the USA with his family in 1999, the company had sales of $350m with 14 trading divisions operating in nine countries.

Since 1999, Steve has focussed on start-up technology opportunities. In 2000, he assisted DigMedia in its successful MBO from a UK public company. DigMedia specialized in digital content subscription services and achieved sales in excess of $2m in 2001 working with US and European Telcos.

In 2002, Steve launched AtlanticXing in San Diego to assist and advise software companies in transitioning their businesses for global markets. He introduced European technologies to US sales channels and provided European reseller channels for US tehnology, as well as providing general management consultancy in sales, marketing and finance.
